One uncoupling electromagnet for use with Sprat & Winkle and D. G. autocouplings. It is also suitable for use with other couplings which require a magnetic "pull down".

The recommended power supply is 12V DC, and it should be operated by a SPST non-latching switch, as the electromagnet is not designed to take continuous current. Because of this, it is unsuitable for semaphore signal operation - use SM7 instead.

The actual size of the electromagnet is 42mm tall x 38mm wide x 15mm deep. The pole is 5.3mm diameter, and projects 13.8mm above the baseplate.
