SC08 7mm scale McKenzie & Holland signal lamp (pack of 3)
This whitemetal casting represents the standard McKenzie & Holland signal lamp case. Dimensions are approximately 10˝mm high x 8˝mm wide across the lenses.
This pattern of lamp was used by the North Eastern, Great Eastern, Taff Vale, Rhymney, North Staffordshire, and Highland railway companies.
An alternative pattern with a larger case and plain vent is available (SC08/1).
Post-grouping conversion of signals to upper quadrant arms normally saw replacement of the lamp with a more modern type (SC011 or SC025), as the lamp would have to move from the right to the left hand side of the post.
