S036 7mm scale Stevens & Co. 2-doll wooden post bracket This pack contains etched parts to construct a Stevens & Co. 2-doll wooden post bracket, as used by the London & South Western and Lynton & Barnstaple Railway companies. The design was introduced in the 1890s, and was used for new contracts until the introduction of the lattice post design (to be introduced to the range at a later date). The brackets are 21mm (3') wide x 28mm (4') deep; the trimmers are 68½mm (9'9") wide x 7mm (1') wide. The parts are etched in 0.018" brass. To model a complete signal as shown in the drawing, you will need: a base post (S017); two dolls (S033); signal arms (S011 lower quadrant or S012 upper quadrant); finials (SC028); lamps (SC01 lower quadrant or SC06 upper quadrant); balance weights (SC041) and a ladder (S7/09, S09/3, S09/4 or S09/5). |
