This design was introduced by the Great Western Railway in the 1940s, and the design was continued by BR's Western Region. As shown in the photograph, the etch produces a 4-doll bracket; by removing part of the bracket and platform, a 3-doll signal may be constructed instead.

The bracket assembly is 114mm (16'3") or 79mm (11'3") wide for a 4 or 3-doll signal respectively.

The parts are etched in 0.018" brass.

To model a complete signal as shown, you will need: a base post (T500); three or four dolls (T18); signal arms (S015); finials (SC018); lamps (SC04); balance weights (S015 and SC041/1) and a ladder (S7/09, S09/3, S09/4 or S09/5).
