S034 7mm scale GWR/BR(W) 3 or 4 doll tubular post bracket This design was introduced by the Great Western Railway in the 1940s, and the design was continued by BR's Western Region. As shown in the photograph, the etch produces a 4-doll bracket; by removing part of the bracket and platform, a 3-doll signal may be constructed instead. The bracket assembly is 114mm (16'3") or 79mm (11'3") wide for a 4 or 3-doll signal respectively. The parts are etched in 0.018" brass. To model a complete signal as shown, you will need: a base post (T500); three or four dolls (T18); signal arms (S015); finials (SC018); lamps (SC04); balance weights (S015 and SC041/1) and a ladder (S7/09, S09/3, S09/4 or S09/5). |
