SC0022 4mm scale North British Railway signal lamp (pack of 5)
This whitemetal casting represents the standard NBR signal lamp case. Dimensions are approximately 7mm high x 4˝mm wide across the lenses. The design, with its double ventilator cowl, was unique to this railway.
Post-grouping conversion of signals to upper quadrant arms normally saw replacement of the lamp with the LNER standard case (SC0025), as the lamp would have to move from the right to the left hand side of the post.
