S004 4mm scale London & North Western Railway lower quadrant signal arm fret

This fret represents the standard corrugated steel arms introduced in 1883. Many of these signals remained in use well into BR days, latterly with the arms replaced by the upper quadrant (S0012/2) type.

The actual size of the fret is 84½ x 54½mm; it is etched in 0.012" brass.
