This fret contains a selection of balance levers and cranks and their brackets for use with all types of signal post. They are based on the Great Northern Railway's design, but are typical of those used by most railway companies. They are suitable for use with both upper and lower quadrant signals.

This item is the ex-D&S 250PF.

The actual size of the fret is 21 x 25½mm; it is etched in 0.008" brass. For clarity, a photograph of the equivalent 4mm scale fret is shown.
