SCT8 3mm scale McKenzie & Holland signal lamp (pack of 5)
This whitemetal casting represents the standard McKenzie & Holland signal lamp case. Dimensions are approximately 4.9mm high x 5.7mm wide across the lenses.
This pattern of lamp was used by the North Eastern, Great Eastern, Taff Vale, Rhymney, North Staffordshire, and Highland railway companies.
Post-grouping conversion of signals to upper quadrant arms normally saw replacement of the lamp with a more modern type (not yet available in the 3mm scale range), as the lamp would have to move from the right to the left hand side of the post.
